The push tool creates drafts, replies, events and Planner updates behind a plan and a typed YES, sending mail only from an existing draft you have seen in full. How safe editing works

Pulling can never change anything: that is enforced in the code, not just promised. Changing something is a deliberate ritual. The tool shows an old-to-new plan of exactly what would change, re-reads the live values right before it asks so nothing has drifted since you looked, and does nothing until you type YES at your own keyboard. The old values are written to disk before anything is sent, so you always have what it was. Each plan can be used once and expires, and any step that cannot be undone says so in the plan, before you approve it.
